Every year during the Winter Break my family goes on a trip to a place we’ve never been before. We went to places such as, Chile, Argentina, West Virginia and in the year of 2013 we decided to go to California. I’ve always wanted to go there, to try to find celebrities, visit their houses, go to the famous beaches and more. In California we went to many different cities, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento and many more.
San francisco
San Francisco was the first stop of our road trip. I still remember the view from the big windows of my hotel, it reminded me of New York, because of the immensity of the buildings and streets and the quantity of lights. That same night, was the premiere of the movie Believe of Justin Bieber, we walked to the mall, since it was really close to the hotel. The movie was amazing and I was really touched by it, because Justin Bieber is my ultimate idol.
We visited many beautiful places, and streets in that city. We walked through the famous red bridge, The Golden Gate that appeared in many movies. Also, we visited a place called Pier 39, except for the fact that the place smelled like fish, it was really fun. I was with my brand new penny board, skating around everywhere. We watched hundreds of sea lions, interact with each other and make odd noises. I also had a closer look to the Alcatraz prison and learned about its famous stories.
We abandoned San Francisco to continue on our road trip to Los Angeles.

The grove
In LA we decided to go to The Grove, a beautiful complex, full of entertainment, stores and fantastic restaurants. We went to the movies and then spent the rest of the time going into the best stores. After a long time walking and appreciating the beauty of the place, I sat on a bench as I waited for my mom to come back with the Starbucks, that we both needed to warm us, as it was the coldest day of trip. As I waited for my mom, two men with three kids next to them asked me “Do you mind we sit here?”. I was not concerned with who were the people sitting next to me, until my mom comes back and opens her eyes with an expression of surprise. The men whom I just met, were in fact two actors called Chris Rock and David Spade. They acted on the movies Grown Ups 1 and 2. I thought it was really interesting that they were walking around with their families, just like normal citizens, with no extra luxuries.
Sony picture studios
One of the days that I had the most fun was the day I visited the sony picture studios. We weren't allowed to take any pictures inside.
The Sony picture studios it is a television and movie studio complex and my family and I got to tour around. As soon as we arrived there, we had the chance to see all the awards, including oscars. They taught us many strategy that movie makers do to trick the audience. They showed many scenarios and sites of filming of movies like Spiderman, Grown Ups and American Hustle. During the tours of the studio of the Tv show The Goldbergs, we were visiting the set of the living room, and the tour guide kept repeating "Do not touch anything, some props are irreplaceable" .Then my dad suddenly turns around and hits an enormous and vintage vase, for his luck, because of my awesome swift, I caught the vase seconds before. The tour guide was freaking out and took us out of that set, but we continued our tour, until we went to the studio where they record the voices for animated films. In the wall was hanging a bicycle, for decoration purpose. My dad opens the door and knocks the bike down and it unfortunately falls on a table, breaking everything. That's the story of how my dad got us kicked out of a studio.

Beaches
The beaches in California are incredible and jaw dropping view. What I like the most about about them it's how clear and well cared they are.
Malibu beach was definitely my favorite, we arrived there in the afternoon and enjoyed a seaside restaurant as we watched the sunset. I couldn't have planned a better way to end the trip as it happened. After the lunch we went to the beautiful beach and walked through the sands bare foot with the winds in our face. We walked a long way and observed the beautiful houses surrounding it.
Venice Beach is just as famous and pretty as Malibu, however they are totally different. Malibu is calm, relaxing and serene, Venice Beach is crowded, and has a lot of noise. In Venice Beach I found all type of people, they interact to others a lot. There I saw some tv show doing interviews with the craziest people.
